The Carbozefir is not just a Zefir with Carbon rims. Both the hubs and the spoke pattern had to be redesigned for a wheel with a carbon rim. As Davide Marchisio never was satisfied with the fit of ordinary nipples he decided to develop nipples on his own to have an optimal fit in carbon rims. The Carbozefir is completely built by hand. As all Marchisio wheels it uses reinforced spokes on the cassette side and it provides the easily changeable cassette body. The weight of the Carbozefir light is 1.090 g only.
