Dario Pegoretti is one of the most respected Italian frame builders. After learning frame building from Gino Milani, a brilliant frame builder of the 70th and 80th, Pegoretti was the first in Italy to use TIG-welding techniques. In those days most of the major Pro riders of the 1990s rode and won on Pegoretti frames that carried the names of the team sponsors.

Even though Pegoretti's design and development did not pause, he doesn't follow any fashion trends. A carbon rear or descending top tube is something you won't find on a Pegoretti frame. Pegoretti uses all-round tubes because they provide the best compromise between lateral strength and torsional stiffness.
